Bachata Czech Republic Festival celebrates diversity and is open to everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, physical condition, appearance, or religious beliefs.
Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or disrespectful behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
Everyone deserves to feel welcome and respected at BCR.
Each attendee is free to participate in the event in any role they prefer.
All participants are expected to respect each other’s choices without questioning, judging, or pressuring them.
All participants have the absolute right to say no to anything, with no explanation required.
Consent should never be assumed. Pay attention to your partner and respect their boundaries at all times.
We have a strict zero‑tolerance approach to harassment, misconduct, or inappropriate behaviour.
These are examples, not an exhaustive list. Any behaviour that disrespects a dancer’s boundaries or creates a sense of discomfort, intimidation, or violation may be considered harassment.
If something happens that makes you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or concerned, please let us know. You can report an incident in any of the following ways.
A short, guided form that goes straight to the anti‑harassment contact. It is sent under your name and email, so she can reply and follow up.

A safe dance floor is everyone’s responsibility.
Be aware of your space and respect the dancers around you. Adapt your movements to the available space and avoid movements that could endanger your partner or other dancers.
If an accident happens, check in and apologize.
Leaders and Followers share the same responsibility for maintaining a safe dance floor.
If alcohol or any substance affects your behaviour in a way that makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe, you may be asked to leave the event.
Please follow basic hygiene standards.
Shower before the event.
Use deodorant.
Bring a change of clothes if needed.
Maintain good oral hygiene.
Cleanliness is a form of respect toward your dance partners and the community.
Any violation of this Code of Conduct may result in immediate removal from the event without entitlement to a refund.
Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, the organizers reserve the right to report the incident to the relevant authorities where appropriate or required by law.
By following this Code of Conduct, you contribute to a positive, respectful, and responsible community.
