A few hours across the weekend, with the people who make it happen. Setup runs Thursday and Friday, the festival is Friday to Sunday, and the room is handed back on Monday morning.

Where we need hands
  • Artists transportation. Getting artists from A to B, on time.
  • Check in and wristbands. The door, the queue, the welcome.
  • Decoration and setup. Before the festival and after it.
  • Workshop support. Rooms, timings, keeping blocks moving.
  • Media and social media. Shooting, posting, carrying.
  • Hospitality and artist care. Fed, looked after, unbothered.
  • Floor support during parties. The long nights.

You will not be doing all of it. Tell us what suits you and we build the rota around what people are actually good at.

What we ask

Setup is Thursday and Friday, and the festival starts on Friday, so most hands are needed Friday to Sunday. The room has to be handed back on Monday morning, so if you can stay until then, say so. Be reachable, turn up when you said you would, and tell us early if something changes.

The full volunteer guidelines are one page and take a minute to read. Everyone on the team also accepts the same code of conduct as everyone else in the room.
