There is a bachata festival somewhere in Europe almost every weekend of the year. That is wonderful and also confusing. This calendar lists the best-known bachata festivals in Europe for 2027, month by month, with the dates that have been published so far and what each is known for. We organise Bachata Czech Republic Festival in Prague, so you will find it in February. Every other entry comes from festival websites and public listings (go&dance, Salsa Vida, ticket pages) as checked in October 2026. Festivals do move dates, so confirm with the organiser before you book a flight.

What to expect at a European bachata festival
Whatever the city, a European bachata festival follows the same shape: a multi-day weekender, often 3 or 4 days, with workshops and parties, international bachata artists and DJs, and a social dancing floor until the early morning. Bigger congresses run several dance floors at once and add shows, masterclasses and a Jack and Jill. Most sell a full pass with price tiers that rise over time, often with a promo code from your local school, and many partner with a hotel for accommodation. How to choose your festivals for 2027
- Start with your style. Some festivals are sensual only, some mix styles, some are salsa, bachata and kizomba together. Bachata styles explained helps you read a line-up.
- Look at the venue. Festivals where you sleep in the venue are easier, especially in winter.
- Check the competition. If you compete, plan around qualifiers. Prague on 27 February 2027 is the Czech qualifier for the Social World Cup.
- Buy early. Most festivals raise prices at published deadlines. Compare pass phases, travel and accommodation, and book your main festival once you know. How festival passes work.
- Go with friends. Couple and group passes are usually cheaper, and festivals are better shared.

We are biased, so here are only the facts. Bachata Czech Republic Festival runs 26 to 28 February 2027 at Hotel Olympik Artemis. Workshops cover Sensual, Dominican, Fusion, Bachazouk, Bachata con Reggaeton and more, with international artists. There are three nights of 100% bachata parties, the Czech Social World Cup qualifier, and rooms in the same building as the dance floor.
